Ben is co-pastor of Applegate Christian Fellowship along with his father, Jon Courson. He is married to Necia whom he calls "a fairy-tale-wife come true."
Ben is a pastor / teacher / author who has a passion for reaching his generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ. In his words, Ben has a vision "To encourage this generation to Live The Dream (Psalm 37:4), be One with all of Jesus' fans (John 17:21) and most importantly, know that we can have a friendship with the Maker of kangaroos and waterfalls and Mars (Genesis 1:1)." |
Dylan Budd (Speaking Saturday)

Dylan was born and raised in Southern California where he spent most of his younger years growing up in the small town of Yucca Valley. After high school he moved to Orange County to pursue a college degree. His mom, who raised him, introduced him to Christ at a young age but unfortunately as life progressed he found himself beginning to shift his attention from Creator to creation. Because of this shift he's learned his share of tough lessons along the way. Today he lives with the realization that it is by God’s grace alone that he stands redeemed and forgiven. Dylan finished school and has enjoyed serving at Roots Community Church alongside his wife. He and his wife share the same passion for the gospel and enjoy telling others about the grace they have received. It is the love of Christ that compels us (2 Corinthians 5:14).

John Hwang (Speaking Saturday)

John has served as a pastor, missionary, and worship leader on three different continents: North America, South America, and Europe. From August 2002 to March 2012, he worked in Brazil planting three churches, speaking at conferences and retreats, and mentoring Brazilian pastors and worship leaders. He is the director of the Orange County campus of Calvary Chapel Bible College and is also a teacher at the School of Worship. He and his family live in Southern California, worshiping at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, CA. |
